Andrei Pantelimon was appointed General Manager of the Cluj-Napoca office of Thomsons Online Benefits in July. The creation of the new position at the global benefits management and employee engagement software company follows the expansion of its business and team, which reached the 100-employee mark this summer. And the new General Manager aims high: he plans to turn the Cluj facility into the strongest of the four offices Thomsons operates worldwide.
Andrei Pantelimon, 35, has joined the company with more than 15 years of experience in IT&C and says that Thomsons is one of the fastest developing British companies, assisting global organizations to maximize their investments in pension and benefit programs, while names such as Cisco, Microsoft, Samsung and RBS can be found among their customers. Pantelimon admits that the new job was an offer he could not refuse.
Before he took over as head of the Cluj Thomsons office, Pantelimon laid the foundation of Endava’s Managed Services division in Central and Eastern Europe, coordinating the activity of over 150 staff in eight centers in Romania, Moldova, Macedonia, as well as UK (London and Glasgow). His strong points in the new job include his familiarity with the technical aspects of the business, his good client behavior knowledge and his adhesion to Thomsons’ values and mission.
