In 1992, Andrei Sulyok started his own trade business. Reminiscing about the past, he emphasized that having good suppliers was key to success in those days. Even so, two years later, Andrei Sulyok joined the big Lindab family.   
When asked about his decision to enter the roofing business, he spoke about the new approach provided by Lindab’s products in this market. “Lindab’s metal roofing tiles and its other products were totally new for Romania. My story with Lindab started at the TIBCO trade show in 1994. At the time, my plan was to set up a joint venture with Lindab, but after several months of talks, in the summer of 1994, I was offered the position of executive manager, which brought me multiple responsibilities,” he said.    
He had a week to decide whether he accepted the job and in the end he took it, because he saw it as the best opportunity to learn top business skills. Over time, the company has seen an organic growth, gaining recognition step by step from professionals and potential customers. During 1994 – 2001, the team laid the ground of the business. It was a time of hard work and constant learning. A time of economic boom followed (2002 – 2008), while the onset of the economic crisis imposed changes and a new strategy focusing on efficiency (2009 – 2012). Starting 2013, the company has focused on regaining its market share, diversifying its portfolio of products and developing its sales team. Over the last 20 years, the company has invested a total of 95.4 million lei in technology, training, partner network, promotion and social.
